Rev. Wayne Phillips

Pastor Wayne Phillips was born March 8, 1962 and raised by Christian parents in rural Anderson County, TN.  Because of the godly influence of his mom and dad, Wayne was saved in a revival at the age of 9 years old. He is a 1980 graduate of Lake City High School and graduated in May of 1985 with a B.S. from Cumberland College.

On June 8, 1985 Pastor Wayne married Joan Long, his high school sweetheart and became a member of MSBC. In March of 1997, Wayne surrendered to the ministry and in September 1997 he was ordained by the Main Street Baptist Church family. From September 1997 to February 2003, he served as Youth Pastor. Since February 23, 2003 Wayne has served as Senior Pastor.

Pastor Wayne’s greatest desire is to Pastor a healthy New Testament Church. “I want to lead a church that is committed to sharing the love of Jesus Christ in Lake City and around the world” (Acts 1:8). “I believe that God has placed His hand on our church and has called
us to change the world for His glory” (Jn. 4:34)

Judy Bates

Judy Bates has served as Worship Leader since June, 2012.  Judy and her husband, Gary, have been married for over 40 years.  Judy and Gary have two children; Adam Bates, son and Krista, who is married to Chris Rayburn.  They have two beautiful granddaughters, Ella and Bailey Rayburn.

Judy has always been passionate about music, having served as pianist or organist at MSBC for 50 years. She was also involved with a youth, choral/mission group, Joy Singers, for 24 years.

It is her desire to be a passionate Worship Leader with a heart to draw others into worship, leading them into the very presence of a loving God.

Brad Bullock

Brad Bullock is the Student Pastor at Main Street Baptist Church. He and his wife, Emily, and their two daughters became a part of the MSBC family in June of 2011.

Brad and Emily have been married since July 2003.  Emily is a teacher at Lake City Elementary School, where both of their daughters, Jaylynn and Emerie, attend school.

Brad is very passionate about youth ministry. He has a heart for young people. That may be because he is a big kid himself.  He really wants his youth to strive and live out verse 1 Timothy 4:12 – “Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in
word, in conduct, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” (NKJV)
